Dr. Leah Hill has owned Animal Medical Center since May 2004 and is the owner of University Pet Resort as well. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Dr. Hill has practiced veterinary medicine in Merced since 1999. She enjoys the opportunity to help pets medically at Animal Medical Center and pamper them at the Resort. She is the proud owner of several horses and her dogs Jess, Belle and Rex.
Amanda is a receptionist for UPR and has been with the resort since October 2007. Her goal is to make sure every pet parent leaves their pet knowing that they will have the best care possible! She loves to meet new people and their precious pets. Her pets include; Rocket the dachshund, a rat named Flower, Spike the guinea pig and a six year old goldfish, Revlis.
Kathy has been with University Pet Resort since the beginning and has a special gift with dogs and birds. She develops loving relationships with even the most aggressive dog. It is a mission of hers to get to know each pet individually. Kathy is a Certified Pet Care Technician. She is a pet parent of Bandit a Pit-Bull mix, a Pit named Shadow and two Chihuahua mixes, Smokey and Bones.

Kelsey has been with Animal Medical Center and University Pet Resort since 2005. Kelsey enjoys spending quality time with all of our guests and creating a special bond with each of them. She has amazing attention to detail! She has several furry and feathered family members including; three dogs Tucker, Roxy and Sparky, two horses Nikki and Mariah, a chinchilla named Andy, several cats and an assortment of birds.
