Dr. Hill

Dr. Leah Hill has owned Animal Medical Center since May 2004, and is an owner of University Pet Resort as well. Originally from Melbourne, Australia, Dr. Hill has practiced veterinary medicine in Merced since 1999, she enjoys the opportunity to help pets medically at Animal Medical Center, and pamper them as well by opening the resort. She is the proud owner of several horses, her dogs "Jess" and "Bailey."

Kathy

Kathy has worked with animals "for forever and a day ago."  She is an ABKA Certified Pet Care Technician, and has a special gift with dogs and birds especially, and develops loving relationships with even the most aggressive dog.  she has even earned the nickname "the dog whisperer" here at the resort.  It is a mission of hers to get to know each pet individually, and prides herself on maintaining a clean, fun-filled environment for each pet that stays at UPR.  She is the owner of a Pit-bull mix named Bandit. 

Rachel

Rachel is originally from Wisconsin, and has worked at the resort since summer 2007.  She loves her job and getting to meet all the four-legged friends at the resort.  She has a special interest in playcare, and loves spending time with her dogs, Dixie & Bridgette.

   Amanda

Amanda is the smiling face you see at our front desk here at the resort.  She is married, has a daughter and a dachshund named Rocket, a rabbit named Jett and a four year old goldfish named Revlis. She loves to meet people and get to know new clients.  Amanda is also in charge of all the holiday photos at the resort, and enjoys helping our clients make lasting memories of their pets.
